Greg "Grego" Mawson
Managing Director / PT / Coach
Hi, I'm Greg—but most people know me as Grego.
Until mid-2020, I was the longest-serving team member at a local gym.
With the support of my amazing friends, clients and family, I made the leap to take my career to the next level by opening my own private studio.
The gym environment had become limiting, and as my profile grew in the community, I was being approached by people from other gyms—and even those who didn’t feel comfortable in gyms at all—looking for a different kind of training experience.
My wife Sandy and I have two young children, Kaden and Lily, and I’m also a proud father to my son Peter, who has four boys of his own—so yes, I’m a G-Dad too!
Before becoming a Personal Trainer in 2011, I worked as a qualified chef and spent 16 years in the IT industry. I later trained in massage therapy; ultimately, this led me to discover my true calling - helping people move better, feel better, and live better through Holistic Movement Coaching and personal training.

Grego's story
My journey in natural bodybuilding spanned more than a decade and 53 competitions across the globe.
In 2017, I chose to retire on a high note after winning the INBA Mr Universe Classic Men's Physique title and earning my PNBA Pro Card. From that point on, my focus shifted to what truly matters - my clients, my business, and my family.
With a background as a qualified chef, years of personal experience in fat loss and muscle building, and the discipline developed through elite competition, I now channel everything I’ve learned into helping others transform their bodies—and their lives.
Bodybuilding demands an extraordinary level of discipline, structure, and self-belief. These are all habits I now help my clients build, in ways that work for their lives.
But I'm not just about aesthetics. I take a holistic approach with every person I train. I help my clients:
